2 months old!

Here are some pictures of Andrew this last week! He is now 9 weeks old! I have been trying to get a picture of him smiling and he gets curious every time I get the camera or video camera out! It's so tricky! Some of the ones i have of him smiling are blurry because it's tricky!

A graduation & a mission call!

My brother Evan got his mission call and graduated high school on the same day! What a treat! He is called to Germany-Munich, Austria mission! He is very excited! He leaves September 10th!The picture that I have of him reading his call is fake. He opened up his call the night before and didn't tell us until after he pretended for us. I was bummed I didn't get to see his real facial expression but he did a pretty good job at acting it all out again. The other picture is the graduation gift that all of his brothers and sisters gave him. It's a video camera! I can't believe that he is leaving on a mission already! He graduated at the Manti High School and i'll just tell you it wasn't a very long graduation and i'm glad for Andrew's sake! Andrew decided to have a blow out during the graduation and it was too hard to get down and out of the bleachers! But boy did it stink! It was so great! I'm sure the people sitting by us didn't like it too much!
Evan decided to go to Oklahoma for the summer to earn the money he needs to pay for his mission. He would rather pay for it than my parents even though my parents said they would. What a man! He leaves to Oklahoma this weekend and comes back the 25th of August so he will only have about 14 days to get ready for his mission and packed! I'm sure he will get everything done he needs to get done!

Happy Mother's Day!

For my very first mother's day Chad wanted to take me to Midway to visit my sister's grave as a gift. It was the most special and amazing gift to me! It was a beautiful day and very peaceful. I know that my sister Rachelle felt how special it was for me as well. She was there with us for sure! Thank you to my sweet husband for the most amazing gift i have ever received! I love you honey!

Our little Bentley!

Bentley loves to get attention some how! This isn't the biggest no no she has done but she was a naughty girl! We left to go to a movie and dinner at Olive Garden for memorial day. We locked her behind a gate in the kitchen. She somehow got a paper towel and ripped it to shreds! We can tell that was the only thing she did the whole day! She was a naughty girl and she new she was! But we love her to pieces!

The work before the blessing!

We decided before the blessing to basically do everything at once! We decorated our downstairs bathroom and got that all cute and we wanted to paint a wall in our kitchen red as you can see. We got some pretty plants for inside our house to add a little more green. We also landscaped our backyard! The landscaping Chad and some guys did all day the Saturday before. It looks amazing now! I will take a picture of it and post it on here! The kitchen took a while just because we had to do about 3 coats of paint on it. We pretty much wanted to do all of this before the blessing to have a motivation to get it all done or else it would have taken us FOREVER to get it all done!! So i am very excited that it is all done and over with!! We love our house now for sure!

Andrew's Blessing

I know it took me a long time to get these up but I finally was able to get it done! I am retarted when it comes to hooking our camera up to the computer, so i have to wait for Chad's help! Here are some pictures of him in his cute blessing outfit! Chad dressed him before church and forgot the little bow tie to it so it's missing but everything else is there. It was a little big on him but he still looked so dang cute. Chad gave an amazing blessing! Of course I cried! Andrew was asleep for the whole thing until the very end where his binki fell out of his mouth and he started to cry. But other than that he did great! We had a lot of great friends and family that came to support us in this event! We also had a lot of family bring food and treats and thank you all for that help! We were so glad that the weather was good for us! Our house is too small to have such a big event inside. We have a big grass area with a playground and pavilion in the back yard and that's where we had the food and everything after the blessing. It turned out just perfect! Thank you for those that were able to make it!
